Terms & Conditions & Cancellation Policy
Please read the following document carefully and confirm by return email that you have read and fully understood the terms and conditions. By booking you are agreeing to the terms & conditions outlined.
When you make a booking with us, we reserve our vehicle and driver/guide exclusively for your trip. Most trips are planned and booked well in advance and mainly for the same travel period between March and October. With this in mind, our
Terms & Conditions strike a balance between offering you good flexibility and helping us with our scheduling, avoiding our vehicle and driver being idle and loss of business.
⁃ All quotes are valid for 28 days from date provided.
⁃ A deposit of 25% of the total tour value is required to secure the tour dates; dates cannot be secured until the deposit is paid.
– Full payment is required if the booking is within 60 days of the tour start date.
– For Day Tours, full payment is requested upfront.
– A written confirmation of booking will be sent to confirm a binding contract governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
– The balance of the tour cost must be paid no later than 60 calendar days prior to departure; failure to do so may result in the booking being treated as cancelled.
– Payments can be made through the payment link sent via email along with your booking details. All major cards are accepted. ROC Tours Limited is not liable for any bank charges associated with bank transfer/wire.
⁃ Inform ROC Tours Limited via email once payment is made.
– To ensure a smooth payment process, inform your bank of the payment details prior to payment to avoid transaction blocks
– If a cancellation is requested after booking confirmation, the following policies apply:
– Deposit Payment: If you cancel your tour up to 61 calendar days from the tour start date, the deposit is 50% refundable. It is non-refundable within 60 or fewer days from the tour start date.
– Balance Payment: Full payment is required 60 days or more before the tour start date and is non-refundable unless the tour is cancelled by ROC Tours Limited.
⁃ Full Day Tours: If a day tour is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the tour date, 50% of the tour cost will be funded.
⁃ All cancellations must be advised via email to info@roctoursireland.com
– Once your booking is confirmed, every effort will be made to provide the booked tour as arranged. However, ROC Tours Limited reserves the right to alter or cancel the whole or part of the tour if unavoidable circumstances arise. In case of cancellation by ROC Tours Limited, a full refund of the tour price, less any non-refundable elements, or alternative travel arrangements will be offered. No incidental or consequential expenses will be covered.
– The tour price does not cover travel insurance. It is a requirement of booking that clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money, and public liability before travel.
– It is highly recommended to purchase insurance covering Covid-related cancellations.
– Clients should ensure that any activities undertaken during the tour are covered by their insurance, noting that certain activities may require specific insurance. ROC Tours Limited reserves the right to refuse a booking without appropriate insurance.
⁃ ROC Tours Limited does not accept liability for any loss or additional expense caused by delay or interruption to travel services through weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, viral pandemic, strikes, wars, floods, or sickness.
⁃ Such losses or additional expenses are the responsibility of the participant.
⁃ All information and advice given by us on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, equipment etc. is given in good faith.
– Your driver guide may request to take photos during the tour for marketing purposes. If you do not wish your photos to be used online, please inform your driver guide, and your wishes will be respected.
